Fuerza: El Swing Del Flamenco is Oscar Valero's soulful and impassioned brand of Flamenco performance. His original music captures the essence of Nuevo Flamenco without extracting from the Flamenco Puro experience. Valero's fiery choreography, combined with his dancers' agility, strength and passion on stage entrance his audiences.
Of the various styles that exist in Flamenco, Valero has chosen the most important ones to present in Fuerza: In the Seguiriya the lament - "quejio" - represents the most mournful of styles. The Jaleos and Tangos, the festive styles, embody the celebration of life. Closing the show is La Soleá del Rubio with its deeply profound and serious tone.
About his production, Valero expresses:
"Un quejio que te atrapa, una juerga que no te deja marchar, y una solea para bailar." ("A soul-jarring lament that traps you, a bash that holds you captive, and a solea that induces you to dance.")
