Raphael Brunn, Flamenco guitarist and composer, was born in Hackensack New Jersey to a well-known family of jugglers, dancers and trapeze artists. An American kid with lots of rhythm, Raphael started playing bass guitar at the age of ten. At fourteen, Raphael moved to Europe to join his father, a world renowned juggler and acrobat who had been using live Flamenco music in his performances since seeing Antonio Ruiz and Carmen Amaya dance in the 1950’s.
From a young age, Raphael was exposed to some of Spain’s finest Flamenco artists including El Manzanita, El Recortao, Pepe Marquez, El Carrete and many more.
His public debut playing Flamenco guitar was in the opening festivities of the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Since then, Raphael has performed with many of the artists who initially inspired his dedication to the Flamenco tradition. In 2001 and 2003 he worked with El Farruquito and El Torombo in the Flamenco production of Incognito, in Frankfurt, Germany. Now based in New York City, Raphael performs regularly with his own Flamenco Quintet including Oscar Valero (dancing and percussion); Sean Kupisz (electric bass); Duane Eubanks (trumpet); Karel Ruzika (saxophone) and various singers (Mariano Manzella and Alfonso Cid). CARLOS REVOLLAR - Flamenco Guitarist
Fl amenco guitarist Carlos Revollar is one of the most sought-after flamenco artists in his native New York City performing with many of flamenco’s top artists at such venues as the Guggenheim Museum, Lincoln Center Summer Stage, Caramoor Festival, New York Fashion Week, New York City Center, Symphony Space and NJ Performing Arts Center.
Carlos also brings flamenco to New York City schools, presenting concerts for children through the Midori Foundation and Lincoln Center's educational programs. An accomplished composer, Carlos has won American Music Center Award Grant three consecutive years for his compositions for the Alborada Dance Theater, for which he is currently the musical director.
Carlos also forms a prizewinning and world-touring duo with the flutist Ulla Suokko, with whom he was presented in a recital at Carnegie Hall's Weill Hall this February.
He studied both classical and flamenco guitar with Dennis Koster, Antonio "Canito" Suarez, El Entri, Jesus Torres and Luis Heredia.

ULLA SUOKKO - Flutist
Flutist Ulla Suokko has been featured in some of the world’s most prestigious concert venues. In addition to the United States and her native Finland, her recent engagements have brought her to Indonesia, Mexico, Sweden, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia.
She forms a prizewinning duo with the flamenco guitarist Carlos Revollar, with whom she is now in ever-increasing demand with special commissions and performances at various festivals throughout the world.
While enjoying a versatile career as a concert flutist, singer and storyteller, she also has many credits also as an actress, including the title role in an award-winning short film "Dolores," as well as multiple appearances on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
An advocate of the healing power of music, she brings music and stories to hospitals, nursing homes, children’s advocacy centers and into the homes of hospice-care patients.
Enjoying collaboration with composers of our time, she has premiered scores of works, many dedicated to her. She plays and tours regularly with some of New York's best contemporary ensembles, including Continuum and Ensemble Sospeso, and holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from The Juilliard School, where she studied with Julius Baker.

H ECTOR OMAR FALCON - Violinist
Described by music critics as an artist who "displays a solid
technique, beautiful sound, and great maturity" and as possessing "an
excellent sense of style and musicality," Hector Falcon has won numerous awards and competitions both in the United States and Puerto Rico.
He began his violin studies with Jose Figueroa, a member of Puerto
Rico's most prestigious family of musicians and with Jaime Medina, a
member of the Orquesta Sinfonica de Puerto Rico.
At the Juilliard School of Music, where he obtained his bachelors and Masters degrees, he studied with Hyo Kang, Masao Kawasaki and Dorothy
Delay. In addition he has attended master classes with Itzhak Perlman.
Mr Falcon has been a member of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra since
the year 2000 and has performed with New York City Ballet, American
Symphony Orchestra and Houston Symphony Orchestra in addition to his
busy schedule as a soloist and chamber player.

PETER BASIL BOGDANOS - Percussionist
Trained in classical, jazz, middle-eastern and latin music, for the past 20 years Peter has performed on stages thoughout the United States, Japan and Europe with Grammy winning hip-hop artists (Diggable Planets), Motown artists (Zhane, Impromp2), eclectc electric Jazz groups (Bobby Previte), Salsa combos (Orlando Marin), Greek Rock bands (Annabouboula), and rock diva Ronnie Spector For the last ten years he has delved into the dance of music of Flamenco and currrently performs with major artists and dance companies such as
Andrea del Conte’s Danza Espana, Atrevete Flamenco, Flamenco Moro, Flamenco Latino, Carlota Santana’s Flamenco Vivo, and individual artists such as Oscar Valero, Pedro Cortes, Roberto Castellon, Nelida Tirado, La Conja, Omayra Amaya, Carmela Greco and Raul Ortega.
He most recently toured with Roxanne Butterfly’s World beats in Canada and the U.S.
